Game-breaker: This has to be QB Geno Smith because he did everything to keep the Raiders out of the ballgame so this is a negative for a team that was without any big-time playmaking. He is taking the brunt of the criticism and given that he is a veteran, that would afford many fans hope that he can right the ship. In a winnable game coming up against TEN, this is a monumental opportunity for him to prove himself and gain some momentum for the rest of the season.
Tale-Teller: More special team gaffes that humiliated the Raiders when they were trying to get back into the game. To have a game-winning field goal blocked and then have the punter AJ Cole go down reflects a suspect group at the least. They even managed to hurt the opposing kicker which didn't really do anything either.
Trend-setter: No clear passing game is starting to really rear its ugly head. Geno Smith is at the middle of a lot of criticism and he is becoming the focal point on a team that is desperately trying to compete. His outward frustration might begin to sink the team because he was chosen to lead this group for the foreseeable future. With nine interceptions so far this year, that inaccuracy is causing a stir.
