Game-breaker
Raiders RB Ashton Jeanty finally found some holes to run through and it mattered a lot in the course of this game. Fundamentally, he has a raw running style because he is in his rookie season, yet he plays with poise and knows how to play with leverage, giving his frame power to break tackles. He had three scores, two through the air, which really shined a bright spot on this Las Vegas offense. He mustered to glance deflecting blows and still churn through yards after contact which he has done so well this season.
Tale-teller
The major issue of this game and maybe so far this season, has been the erratic play of Geno Smith. He threw two picks in the first half and threw his final INT with his first toss in the second half. He needs to upgrade his game and give the Raiders more consistency. He leads the league in interceptions and has had a glaring history up to this point. If the offensive line can secure the pocket and give him throwing lanes, he needs to ensure that he will deliver the ball accurately and on time.
Trend-setter
One of the biggest takeaways of this game was the steady play of the Raiders defensive line. The Bears' RB D'Andre Swift had little running room along the line of scrimmage as the Raiders stuffed it out and made the Bears rely on QB Caleb Williams to find open seams. Swift finished the game with 38 yards on 14 carries which is reflective of a defensive scheme that is very effective. Unfortunately, it didn't slow them down in the fourth when Swift scored on a 13-yard rush towards the pylon.
