Game-breaker
The game-breaker this week for the Raiders was Tre Tucker. He is becoming a favorite target so far for Geno Smith this early in the season. He caught eight passes for 145 yards and three touchdowns. He caught the first touchdown pass of the season and has been carrying much of the load for the offense as the work to fix some of the ongoing kinks.
Tale-teller
The tale-teller this week for the Raiders was unfortunately their offensive line as they gave up five sacks and couldn't give Geno or Jeanty enough push to keep WSH from controlling the line of scrimmage. The Raiders have a deficiency upfront as they do not have enough beef to keep the defense from giving them trouble. Geno got fired up and Jeanty had to find holes at opportune times to really give any sense of a running attack.
Trend-setter
The trend-setter this week for the Raiders was inadequacy coming from the offense and yet all-around disappointment in all phases of the game. Not only could Smith find the right guy repeatedly, only on a few good throws, the defense and the special teams played extremely lousy. They gave up two huge returns that were inexcusable and really deflated them.
